I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a truly special family that blended individual portraits with creativity, personality, and pure fun. From sparkly studio backdrops to a vibrant paint war, this full day session was a fantastic journey through the unique essence of each family member.

Our adventure began in the studio, where we brought a burst of sparkle and neon into the mix. The two daughters shone brightly against the dazzling backdrops, with every shot capturing their unique spirits and individual charm. The sparkly setting was the perfect canvas to highlight their personalities, setting a joyful tone for the rest of the session.

Jasmine couldn't stop smiling during her turn in front of the camera. She also wanted to get playful and told me her favorite color was purple so I used purple lights and purple colored heart shaped sunglasses for a few of her images.

Erykah preferred a more subdued look over a big smile. I respect each individual's comfort and style, and instead of forcing any particular pose or expression, I focus on finding a genuine connection and creating an environment where everyone feels at ease. The result was a series of authentic and fun images that truly reflected her personality. I love a good portrait where the subject isn't looking at the camera!

Next, we embraced a nostalgic 90's feel for an outdoor session that perfectly complemented the family’s dynamic. It was incredible to see how the grungy vibe brought out their playful side, and each image was filled with laughter and genuine connection. The 90’s style added a fun twist, making the session both memorable and visually striking. Mom even had fun and played dress up with the moto jacket from my style closet for the first set of photos!

The grand finale was nothing short of epic—a paint war! This creative and messy fun allowed us to capture the family’s spontaneity and enthusiasm in a way that was both vibrant and authentic. The girls and their mom REALLY got into the spirit! It was so fun to be apart of this memory with them!
