The Magic of a Forest Engagement Shoot

We had a magical engagement shoot in the forest. The lush greenery, towering trees, and winding paths created the perfect backdrop Cyndal and Johnathan’s engagement session.

We started at the Fire Tower in Cook’s Forest. Johnathan had never been there so I made sure to send them up in the tower before we actually started shooting! After that, we found a secluded spot in the forest that was relatively free of people and noise. This helped create a more intimate and magical atmosphere for our shoot.

They brought a blanket and a change of clothes so we had some variety in their photos.

We were creative with this session. We took photos in the woods in more formal clothing and then we went to the river and they changed into more casual outfits. They are so cute and so much fun, I even got them floating on an air mattress in the middle of the river! We had a lot of fun with their engagement shoot. We captured the magic of their love and created photos that they will cherish for a lifetime.
